No chemical is added. It does not give dark black color. it gives soft black color. Directions for use: Please make paste immediately with warm water or coffee water. Temperature 50 degrees and make a paste and apply to hair immediately. Do not leave overnight. Please note that hair should not be oily. Leave it on hair and roots for 3 to 4 hours. and wash hair with warm water. Next day shampoo hair. Note It is natural hair color from plant source it gives soft black color.
